Vidyadhar Bhattacharya was the chief architect to Maharaja Sawai Man Singh. He was famous for his designs, elaborate architecture and the dexterity with which he created architectural wonders. Built in 1988, the garden was designed keeping in mind the ancient ‘Shilpa Shastra’. Many historians believed that the garden used to be a vineyard in the vicinity of the Sisodia gardens.
